Your Indian adventure begins the moment you land.

One of our friendly crew members will meet you at New Delhi Airport before escorting you through the colourful chaos and energy of India’s capital city.

We’ll transfer you to your hotel in the lively Paharganj area, close to the heart of Delhi. Expect colourful streets, busy markets, incredible food and a first taste of the sights, sounds and smells that make India unlike anywhere else on Earth.

We travel from Delhi to Chandigarh aboard the famous Shatabdi Express train.

After meeting our local crew and Royal Enfield motorcycles, we take part in a traditional pooja for a safe and successful journey.

We then ride approximately 90 kilometres through Northern Punjab to Bahdi, near Anandpur Sahib, where we spend the night.

This relaxed first ride gives you time to become comfortable with your motorcycle, the roads and the riding style before enjoying a traditional dinner at a beautiful haveli.

We visit Anandpur Sahib, one of the most important spiritual sites of the Sikh faith, before exploring the impressive Virasat-e-Khalsa museum.

We then ride towards Mandi as the scenery changes from the plains to the foothills of the Himalayas.

The real mountain riding begins as we follow the winding NH21 towards Manali.

We pass Pandoh Dam and the Aut Tunnel before arriving in this lively mountain town, filled with cafés, markets, temples, travellers and motorcyclists from around the world.

Enjoy a well-earned rest day exploring Manali.

Wander through the bazaars, visit Manu Temple, relax in a café or simply enjoy the mountain atmosphere. This break also gives your body time to prepare for the high-altitude riding ahead.

We leave Manali early and travel through the Atal Tunnel into the spectacular Lahaul Valley.

At Tandi, the last fuel station before Leh, we refuel all motorcycles and carry additional fuel in approved containers for the remote sections ahead.

We then continue through vast valleys and dramatic Himalayan scenery to Sarchu for the night.

This is our longest riding day, taking us across the famous Gata Loops and several high-altitude passes.

We stop at Pang before climbing towards Tanglang La, approximately 5,300 metres above sea level.

After taking in the incredible views, we descend towards the Indus River and continue to Leh, located at approximately 3,500 metres.

We ride steadily, take regular breaks and carefully monitor everyone’s wellbeing throughout the day.

Leh is a fascinating mix of Ladakhi culture, ancient markets, monasteries, cafés and travellers from around the world.

Today is yours to relax, explore and allow your body to adjust to the altitude before we continue deeper into Ladakh.

We leave Leh and ride through spectacular mountain scenery towards the remote town of Hanle.

The roads, landscapes and views become increasingly dramatic as we cross the Changthang Plateau.

We settle in for the evening and prepare for one of the biggest highlights of the tour.

Today we ride to Umling La, currently recognised as the world’s highest motorable road at approximately 5,883 metres above sea level.

The route takes us through vast, remote Himalayan landscapes unlike anywhere else on Earth.

The day is carefully managed, with a steady pace, regular breaks and constant attention to the effects of high altitude.

After celebrating at the summit and taking plenty of photographs, we return to Hanle for the evening.

We begin our return journey to Leh.

Although we travel along many of the same roads, the scenery looks completely different in the opposite direction.

After a final cup of high-altitude chai, we complete our last riding day and celebrate together in Leh.

We fly from Leh back to Delhi before continuing by private bus to Agra.

The drive takes approximately four hours. Once settled in, you can relax and prepare for the grand finale of the adventure.

We visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, before travelling by private bus back to Delhi Airport.

The drive takes approximately five hours, so please book your departure flight from Delhi for 8:00 pm or later.
