Big Merino 2 Day Muster
Join us for the ultimate riding experience on "Big Merino - 2 Day Muster", a thrilling two-day event that starts at the Big Merino in Goulburn NSW. We conquer the rugged dirt roads and captivating landscapes around Goulburn and Cooma: Goulburn's countryside, where the terrain presents surprises at every turn, and Cooma's winding dirt roads, each leading to hidden gems and breathtaking vistas.
Immerse yourself in the charm of the surrounding farmlands, where the tranquillity of rural life meets the adrenaline rush of off-road exploration. Every road on this adventure is a council-gazetted road: no single tracks or jumps. Any size adventure bike is suitable.
No need for expensive GPS units: the Muster runs on a "Corner Man" system, so navigation is a breeze.

The route
Start and finish at the Big Merino Gift Shop, corner of Hume and Sowerby St, Goulburn NSW 2580. Briefing and sign-on from 8am; riding starts 9am sharp.

Goulburn to Cooma
We navigate Goulburn's countryside on gazetted dirt roads and scenic lookouts, arriving in Cooma, on Ngarigo Country, around 3:30pm with time to check in and carry out any bike repairs. Cooma is the gateway to the Snowy Mountains and played a pivotal role in the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme.

Cooma back to Goulburn
Riding starts at 8am. Another chapter of scenic lookouts, adrenaline-pumping dirt roads and light-hearted adventure, back to Goulburn by a completely different route to Day 1. We expect to arrive back at the Big Merino around 3pm, so most people can get home to Sydney that afternoon.
