The Great Divide 2 Day Ride

Join us for the ultimate riding experience on "The Great Divide Ride", a thrilling two-day event that starts from our Fine Line training centre in Taree. Sign-on is at 7:30am and we ride out at 8am. We cross Australia's awe-inspiring Great Dividing Range, through the Barrington Tops, open farmland, subtropical rainforest and rolling plains.

Every road on this adventure is a council-gazetted road: no single tracks or jumps. Our commitment to safety and enjoyment is paramount.

No need for expensive GPS units: the ride runs on a "Corner Man" system, so navigation is a breeze.

DAY 1

Taree to Tamworth

We climb from Taree across the Great Dividing Range on gazetted dirt roads and scenic lookouts, via Nowendoc, finishing in Tamworth, home of the Big Golden Guitar.

DAY 2

Tamworth back to Taree

Another chapter of breathtaking scenic lookouts, adrenaline-pumping dirt roads and light-hearted adventure as we make our way back to Taree by a different route, returning via the Barrington Tops.

About 300 km a day, around 600 km in total. Sign-on 7:30am, riders leave at 8am. Our aim is for the ride not to test you physically but to be enjoyable while still covering a decent distance. If the distance is too far, the backup vehicle can take you to the final destination.
