Great Divide Tour-

2 Day Adventure Ride- Taree / Tamworth

Aussie Bike or Hike (Australia's leading tour company) and Fine Line Rider Training (30 years' experience training motorcycle riders with over 60,000 successful customers)
You've done your compulsory training, and got your L's or P's, and it's time to explore the big wide world by motorcycle.
There's only one thing wrong....... You've got nobody who you trust to go with.
Sure, there are plenty of clubs and Facebook groups to ride with, but it's just not the same as going with a fully qualified instructor who is also an experienced motorcycle tour guide. Plus, riding on dirt is a whole new experience for some.
Starting from our Fine Line training centre in Taree. "The Great Divide Ride" is a two day event that takes us on an adventure over Australia's Great Dividing range, riding through the beautiful Barrington Tops, along open farm land, and incredible sub- tropical rain forest, and rolling plains.
We'll overnight in the home of the Golden Guitar - Tamworth.
Tamworth's Big Golden Guitar and the Long Yard Hotel is the perfect overnight stop,
where we can unwind and talk about the days ride.
Along the ride we will discover beautiful parts of Country NSW, taking a scenic drive through the countryside to visit the area's historic towns including Wingham, Mt George, Nundle,  Nowendoc and other remote towns.
Next day we're off again for another great day of scenic lookouts, great dirt roads and light adventure along the way, as we make our way back to our start point at Taree.
What we provide:
• A great ride on council maintained dirt roads. Dirt road touring at its best, suitable for any size adventure bike or trail bike.
• The experience of having tour guides, who are also qualified motorcycle instructors, to assist and help you along the way.
• A 4x4 support vehicle with trailer to carry your luggage, so you can ride unhindered AND is ready to assist if help is needed
• Lunch provided both days
• Satellite emergency contact. Help can be summoned from anywhere if needed.
• Accommodation is included at Tamworth at the Golden Guitar Motel. (Food and drinks are at customer's expense)
• The feeling of support you can only get by riding with people who you know are experienced and professional.
• Free overnight car and trailer parking available at our Whitbread Street Training Center for those who wish to trailer their bikes to the start.
You need to provide:
• A legal registered trail or adventure style motorcycle with at least 200klm fuel range ( or bring jerry can that can go in our trailer)
• We recommend a minimum 50/50 road/dirt type tyre for this kind of riding.
• Your food and drink at your own expense
• Personal riding equipment such as helmet, jacket etc.
• A sense of fun and light adventure with a willingness to take some challenges along the way.
The full cost of the two-day ride is $395 per person share accommodation ( 2 people - twin beds).
